Live Review - The Gassienda

"Well hell yeah we really did get her back in the club!!
She just blew in from the windy city and rocked this joint to pieces.
She is 50ft of shexyness, classy kinda sassy with her skirt way above her knees…….as Steven Tyler would say !!
But yes sir, this band, are as tight as the proverbial nuns crutch. With tunes more catchier than crabs in Blackpool on the Glasgow fortnight !!!
Minki, poor gal was wee bit under the weather. But she sang her 50ft heart out to the pleasure of one and all. She really has got herself one helluva band. Totally together and it does give me pleasure (!) when a band make the effort to look like a Rock 'n' Roll band….I do wish others would take note !! But there again I am a stickler for that kinda thing !!!
Coming on like a female fronted Aerosmith with plenty of AC/DC riffs and with a subtle hint of pop made it a great show. Songs such as 'Ultra Violet', 'Strictly Only Swinging' and 'Skinny Minnie' are pure pop rock 'n' roll so much so it made me wanna whip out me old glam rock gear and shake some action. Great band and really nice folks!! Well worth a look at from any angle !!!!"
